MIPS compliance shouldn't cost this much.

Smaller practices are disproportionately penalized. The infrastructure to track quality measures was built for health systems, not independent providers. PillCoach changes that equation.

49%

of solo practices penalized under MIPS

Including 29% at the maximum penalty. Smaller practices lack the reporting infrastructure that larger groups use to optimize scores.

53 hrs

annual physician time spent on MIPS compliance

That is roughly one full week of patient visits redirected to quality reporting. Pharmacy-led medication management can offset a significant portion of that burden.

$12.8K

average annual compliance cost per physician

Between reporting tools, staff time, and consulting fees, MIPS compliance is a line item most small practices can't optimize on their own.

HOW IT WORKS

Pharmacy data, delivered to your workflow.

Step 01

Your pharmacy uses PillCoach

The pharmacy tracks medication adherence, manages MTM encounters, and monitors clinical gaps using PillCoach connected to their pharmacy management system.

Step 02

You get a shared patient view

As a provider, you see the same patient-level adherence data your pharmacy sees. PDC scores, fill gaps, medication changes, and care coordination notes in one place.

Step 03

Quality measures improve

Medication adherence data supports your MIPS quality reporting. Pharmacy interventions help close the gaps that affect your scores, without adding to your staff's workload.

MIPS MEASURES

The measures your pharmacy partners can help you hit.

Quality ID #438

Statin Therapy for Cardiovascular Disease

Tracks whether high-risk patients are prescribed and adherent to statin therapy. Pharmacists monitor fill rates and flag non-adherence before it becomes a gap in your quality reporting.

Quality ID #46

Medication Reconciliation Post-Discharge

Requires medication list reconciliation within 30 days of discharge. Pharmacists perform reconciliation as part of their standard workflow, generating documentation that supports this measure.

Quality ID #130

Documentation of Current Medications

Requires accurate, complete medication lists at every encounter. The shared patient view in PillCoach keeps medication data current between pharmacy and provider, reducing documentation gaps.

Improvement Activity IA_PM_16

Medication Management Practice Improvements

Worth 15% of your MIPS score. Requires integrating pharmacist-led medication reviews into care team workflows. PillCoach provides the structured documentation and coordination infrastructure.

Built for practices where pharmacy relationships matter.

Solo & Small Group Practices

Managing MIPS with limited staff is expensive. PillCoach connects your practice to pharmacy partners already tracking medication measures on your shared patients.

FQHCs & Rural Clinics

Community pharmacies are already embedded in your patient population. PillCoach makes that relationship measurable by surfacing adherence and reconciliation data that maps to your quality program.

Multi-Location Groups

Standardize MIPS reporting across locations. PillCoach gives each site a shared view with their local pharmacy partners, while your quality team gets visibility across the network.

Pharmacy-powered quality improvement, purpose-built for independent practice.

PillCoach is designed specifically for pharmacies that work directly with provider offices. Every feature maps to a real clinical workflow. No bolt-on modules. No enterprise bloat. Just the data you need, from the pharmacy partners you already trust.

What providers ask about PillCoach.

How does my practice get access?

Your pharmacy partner sets up a shared patient view through their PillCoach account. You receive a provider login that gives you visibility into medication adherence and quality measure data for your shared patients.

Which MIPS measures does this help with?

PillCoach supports Quality measures #438 (Statin Therapy for CV Disease), #46 (Medication Reconciliation Post-Discharge), #130 (Documentation of Current Medications), and Improvement Activity IA_PM_16 (Medication Management Practice Improvements).

Is there a cost to the provider?

PillCoach is a pharmacy-side platform. The shared patient view for providers is included when your pharmacy partner uses PillCoach. There is no separate fee for the provider account.

What if my pharmacy doesn't use PillCoach yet?

Reach out through our contact page. We can connect you with pharmacies in your area that are already on the platform, or help your current pharmacy partners get started.

How is patient data handled?

All data sharing is HIPAA-compliant. Provider accounts only see patients where an existing care relationship is established with the pharmacy. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Azure-hosted infrastructure.

Can this count toward my Improvement Activities?

Yes. Collaborating with a pharmacy on medication management through PillCoach can support documentation for IA_PM_16. This category accounts for 15% of your total MIPS score.

Better scores start with better collaboration.
